Halacha - brushing teeth on shabbos
Submitted by shlomo  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh
Question: i am very sensitive and am not comfortable with unbrushed teeth. it really spoils my oneg shabbos, besides my teeth get infected if I dont brush them. what is the permissible way to brush your teeth on shabbos? i'm sure many people will benefit from this teshuva. yasher koach!
Answer: If your teeth are not so sensitive as to inevitably bleed, you may certainly brush with a toothbrush without water and toothpaste. If you want to use water and toothpaste, the website http://www.kosherimage.com has a special toothbrush and liquid tooth soap that may be used on Shabbos without hesitation.
