Halacha - last minute davening
Submitted by anonymous  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh

First of all the time to daven shacharis is 2 hours before chatzos and one may not daven afterwards unless there were circumstances beyond his control. Furthermore, one must complete shmona esrei before the latest time, it is not sufficient to start. This would also apply to davening mincha close to shkiya.
