|Halacha - ona beinunis on the Seasonale|
|Submitted by Devora Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh|
According to the information on their website, Seasonale does not reliably prevent a period for the first year of use. Therefore until a pattern of not bleeding for 90 days has been established conclusively, there is no question that all vestos must be observed. However once the efficiency of Seasonale has been determined, there are grounds to be lenient on the day of the month and haflaga (if relevant). Most Poskim are not lenient regarding the ona benonis itself, but one could certainly limit oneself to the 30th day without the 31st or the Ohr Zarua, since they are both chumros.
