Question:
Answer:

A woman may not perform for men, and I presume that it would be very challenging to make a career out of performances for women only. You will have to give up your dreams of performing in the Metropolitan Opera. It takes a lot of courage to change one's life in midstream, and a change of profession may be one more challenge you may face. However it is advisable to try to find a "kosher" outlet for your talents and years of investments, because "giving it all up" is too difficult for most people to contemplate. There are tapes for women only, and many communities and schools have female performances. You might be able to participate and coach similar events with your years of training. Additionally you may be able to teach other women and girls how to use their vocal talents for their private enjoyment, and find a job as a trainer.

I wish you much success on in your endeavors; spiritual, professional and artistic.
