|Answer: In general, one is permitted to accept such "benefits" from someone to whom you lent money if three conditions are fulfilled: It is something small, it is not done in a particularly public manner, and he would have given it to you anyway even if you hadn't lent him the money. (And obviously, assuming he doesn't say that he's giving it you because you lent him money.)|
If you're the type of friend/communal member etc who would have gone anyway to the bris even if you hadn't lent him any money, you may still do so.
