Question:
Answer: Well there are some rolls that heve on them a label that says "mezonos", so it's not fair to say there is no bread named "mezonos". However, the beracha that should be said on them is hamotzi. An exception would only be possible if the bread was usually eaten as a snack by most people in this area. If that would be the case we could start discussing different issues such as: is it made from pure juice or concentrate and water, and how sweet does it need to be. So I guess you could call a croissant "mezonos bread", but I would just call it cake.
