Halacha - ger and tevillas kelim
Submitted by anonymous  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh
Question: Does a ger need to tovel all his kelim? There is no question of kashrus here well. maybe a little one). He has been keeping completely kosher for over a year and bought new kelim (and they were in fact all toveled then [I think he did it because he thought that Jews need to eat on toveled kelim]), but now he did the actual milah and tevilah. Does he need to tovel all of his kelim? The little question of kashrus might be if he has neemanus that he kept kosher). Thank you.
Answer: The keilim certainly need tevila as they were owned by a non-Jew (the Ger pre-geirus). Regarding neemanus, if he is certain that he kept all the Halachos of Kashrus properly, he may certainly rely on himself to continue using his keilim. The problem would only be if others could eat at his house.
