Halacha - Shaimos
Submitted by freida  Answered by Rav Peretz Moncharsh
Question: What exactly MUST be set aside for genizah besides papers containing Shem Hashem?
Answer: Any papers of pesukim or divrei Torah, whether written or printed, must be placed in geniza. This includes children's parsha sheets, homework, etc. The exception would be a page primarily dedicated to non-Torah subjects, such as a frum newspaper, but containing divrei Torah w/o Hashem's name. These do not require geniza and may be discarded, but should be wrapped or bagged first to avoid disgrace.
