|Answer: If the water was yad soles bo, at least 45C 113F, the pot should be considered fleishig. A sponge contains actual mamashus and not just bliyos.

1) Yes, one may cook fish in any fleishig pot. However, if the pot was used for meat within the past 24 hours the fish must not be eaten together with milchigs.
2) yes, one may do hagala in the normal manner as I have detailed in other places.

1) it was a fish pot can I still cook fish in it
